HAWAI‘I ROTARY DISTRICT 5000 WELCOMES NEW DISTRICT GOVERNOR FROM KAUA‘I
– Rotary Club of Poʻipū Beach’s Ted Faigle begins new Rotary year as District 5000 Governor –
POʻIPŪ BEACH (July 11, 2024) – Hawaiʻi Rotary District 5000 is proud to announce the induction of Ted Faigle as the new District Governor for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. The installation ceremony was held on June 30, 2024, at the Kauai Museum, marking the beginning of Ted’s leadership effective from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
Ted Faigle, a member of the Rotary Club of Poʻipū Beach, will oversee over 50 Rotary and Rotaract clubs across the state of Hawaiʻi, encompassing approximately 1,500 volunteers. As District Governor, Ted is an officer of Rotary International, responsible for operations of the district. He also inspires, trains, and supports club leaders to expand Rotary’s reach, enhance the member experience, and amplify the impact of service projects both locally in Hawai’i and globally.
Outgoing District Governor Mark Merriam from the Rotary Club of Metropolitan Honolulu stated, “Ted’s leadership and dedication to service make him the perfect choice to guide our district forward. I am confident that under his stewardship, we will continue to grow and make a positive impact in our communities.”
Ted Faigle brings extensive Rotary experience, including roles such as Chief of Staff, Assistant Governor for Kauai, and District Social Media Chair. He is a graduate of the District 5000 Leadership Academy and a Past President of the Rotary Club of Poʻipū Beach. Ted is also involved in various community service projects and serves as the Board President for Leadership Kaua’i.
“I am honored to serve as District Governor and excited to work with our clubs to expand our reach and strengthen our service efforts locally and globally,” said Ted Faigle. “Together, we can achieve great things and continue to support our communities in meaningful ways.”
