Aloha District 5000 Rotarians,

It has been a phenomenal year to be a Hawaii Rotarian in District 5000. Our clubs are alive, vibrant, and our Rotarians are more engaged and active than ever. Membership has grown, and we have proudly organized two new Satellite Clubs in the last month. Support for The Rotary Foundation remains strong, and our Public Image initiatives have significantly raised awareness of our work.

Mahalo to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and resources to Rotary this year. Our District Leadership Team, through our Assistant Governors and Committees, has been fantastic, serving as valuable resources for our clubs. The leadership at the club level has been extraordinary, and I want to extend a special thank you to our Club Presidents. Their dedication makes Rotary happen and brings our mission to life.

Each of us has different Rotary experiences, which is a key strength of our organization. There is something in Rotary for everyone. People join Rotary because they want to do good in the world, and that simple goal can be met in countless ways. We must continue to encourage and engage all members, helping them find their Rotary passion.

Reflecting on this year fills my heart with gratitude. I am thankful for the incredible volunteers I had the privilege to work with, learn from, and have fun with. The breadth and depth of Hawaii Rotary extends through each of our unique clubs, each with its own personality and ways to serve our communities. I am continually impressed with the work being done.

Hawaii Rotary will continue to grow and flourish under the leadership of District Governor Ted Faigle and the incoming Club Presidents, who are poised to make a positive impact. I am excited about the future prospects of our organization.

Rotary provides leadership opportunities for everyone. Just say “yes” the next time you are asked. I look forward to volunteering and being with you at the next Rotary event.
